En la actualidad, estoy escribiendo mi tesis doctoral sobre la intensionalidad y la interficie sintaxis-semántica bajo la dirección del profesor D. Ignacio Bosque Muñoz de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He publicado diversos trabajos sobre la naturaleza de los verbos intensionales, sobre la estructura cuantificacional de las oraciones y sobre los procesos de acomodación y presuposición así como su relación con la estructura sintáctica de la cláusula. Junto con Isabel Pérez Jiménez, he realizado investigaciones sobre la relación del aspecto léxico y el aspecto verbal con la estructura funcional de las oraciones.
Desde el año 2000 trabajo como profesor asociado del departamento de Filología Hispánica y Clásica de la Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM). Enseño la asignatura de Lingüística General y Aplicada así como la asignatura de Comprensión y Producción, ambas en la diplomatura de Logopedia, impartida en la actualidad en el CEU de Talavera de la Reina.
